Graduated from the Navy's Nuclear Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Schools. Obtained a BS Degree in Computer Science from Chapman University in Orange County, and dual AS Degrees in Computer Technology and Electronic Technology from Grossmont College in El Cajon, CA. I am an enthusiastic and personable education professional with broad teaching skills and significant experience working with students of all levels and cultures. While 20 years in the US Navy, taught Nuclear Engineering courses which included many Electronic and Electrical Engineering subjects, and while at Sun Microsystems for 14 years, taught 31 of the 42 courses offered which included systems administration, programming, and computer repair, and during off time I taught UNIX, Shell and Perl Programming at UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley’ and DeAnza Junior College. I have access to textbooks, workbooks, lecture notes, cheat sheets, power point lectures, and quizzes and exams given by high schools and colleges that can be used as reference material.
